Wise Men Still Seek Him

The Wise Men are a central part of the Christmas story and have many significant roles.

  • Fulfillment of prophecy

The Wise Men's journey to Bethlehem and worship of Jesus fulfilled the ancient prophecy that a Messiah would be born for all nations.

  • Recognition of Jesus as God

The Wise Men's gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh symbolized their recognition of Jesus as King, God, and Savior.

  • Inspiration for us today

The story of the Wise Men can inspire us to think about the gifts God desires from us today.

Gifting is a big part of our Christmas tradition, and this time of year is all about being generous and thinking of the folks around us.

We give gifts at Christmas to symbolizes the ultimate Gift God gave us in Jesus Christ, His Son! Giving at Christmas does include a certain 'magic' that normal giving may or may not include. But how could we even begin to match the Gift God gave us? God gave us His perfect gift -- His only Son Jesus Christ.

May we all celebrate the birth of Jesus and spread the hope He brought to the world.

Thank you for supporting my blog this year and hopefully it has motivated, encouraged and maybe even given you a few smiles. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season!
