Thirty years ago I had a bright idea: I'll start my own apparel line
and call it 'Avanzare'. It's Italian. Means to go forward.
One of my best friends, Tom, had advised me, that I should have changed
the name from "Avanzare" to "I'll Be Sorry". But my enthusiasm
ruled the day. I put everything I had into the line including my savings.
Four months later, I had lost over 3/4 of my investment.
Mike Tyson once said" Everybody has a plan till they get punched in the face"
I always say, the windshield is bigger than the rear view mirror for
a purpose!
Never give up!
Always ask yourself "What can I learn and how can I make it better next time?"
. . . and 38 years later, I started Karlie Clothes.
Don't accept failure.
Prove 'em wrong!
