As a little boy standing beside his father looked up into the sky, he spotted a small speck moving across it. His father, noticed his son's fascination, and said "That's an airplane. How big do you think that plane is?"

The boy replied, "It's tiny, Dad!" His response reflected the child's limited understanding of size and perspective.

Driving home the father stopped by the airport, to give the son a better perspective of the size of an airplane. As they got closer to the runway, the little boy grew even more excited to see how big the plane actually was! The airplane had a massive wingspan and was much taller than the boy ever imagined! The father asked his son again "How big do you think the plane is now, son?" Standing closer to the enormous aircraft, he exclaimed "It's GIGANTIC, Dad!"

So . . . . . how big do you think God is?

Just like the plane, the closer you are to God in your life, the larger and more significant He becomes in your perspective.

The tiny plane in the sky is a metaphor to our perception of God Almighty. But the closer we get to God, the more we are able to comprehend His vastness, love, and power as He works in our lives.

Our understanding of God may be limited. Unless we trust and maintain a closeness with Him, we might perceive Him as small or insignificant. However, as we draw nearer through faith, prayer, and personal experiences, God reveals His true greatness and majesty.

So . . . how big do you think God is now?

    HE'S GIGANTIC!
