My Mom and dad were married over 60 years. They dated for 7 years. But in those days, that meant they probably only saw each other about 10 times a year! My dad worked in a cotton mill for over 40 years. Mom was a stay-at-home mom that never had gotten a drivers license. They did everything together and you never saw one without the other.

"No, Charlie, I'm going to marry you so you can teach me how to grow up and I'll teach you how to stay young," She replied. They lived together for 34 years and had 8 children.
As someone who has a younger wife, I can appreciate her very wise comment.
Marriage is for better or worse, richer or poorer. If you are married “for better,” thank the Lord. If you are married “for worse,” keep praying she can change you.
