Successful people make the best use of their time!

Someone once wisely pointed out:

Time is free. But it's priceless. You can't own it -- but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spend it. And once you lose it you can never get it back.

The older you get, the faster time goes.

The bad news is that time flies.

The good news is that you're the pilot!

Zig Ziglar once said: Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have 24 hours in a day.

How do you spend your time? Do you control time -- or does time control you?

Of course, none of us can control time -- but we can take advantage of what it offers. Time management is a huge key to success! Productivity Coach, Kristin O'Donovan has come up with a simple, effective three-step process:

1. Plan

2. Prioritize

3. Perform

It's up to you! We all use time differently, according to our priorities. Wasting time is a problem for all of us. . . . . Social Media is a BIG time sucker!

But as the keeper of your own clock you must remember the difference between wasting time and using time:

Using your time to focus on yourself and others -- never a waste of time!

Using your time to listen to others -- never a waste of time.

Spending time to go out of your way to help someone -- never a waste of time.

Savoring time with your family -- never a waste of time.

These well-spent hours offer big pay-offs.

Tomorrow morning, don't wait for the alarm clock to wake you up. Take pleasure in turning off the alarm before it sounds.

  • Formulate a plan.

  • Make yourself a list. (Add time-out for yourself. (On purpose)

  • Check off your achievements.

The guy in the jailhouse picture above made the best use of his prison-time.

But imagine what he could have written if he'd done a little planning!
