It's About Time!

As we go through each day with our nose to "the grind" we often misunderstand that whatever doesn’t make us money is a waste of time.

But looking back on my life, it is easy for me to see that so many of the things that weren't profitable to me financially were just as important! Never forget the importance of staying connected with others! For example, spend time keeping in touch with and encouraging old friends by texts, emails or by phone .

Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.

If you love watching TV shows, enjoy your Netflix binge. Or if NASCAR or Tractor Pulls are your thing -- go for it. Don't feel guilty!  If you enjoy it -- it's not wasted time!

If you are like me, sometimes you reach the end of your day and ask yourself: 'What did I get done today?' The older you get the more you realize that the quality of your life depends on how you spend your time.

Time Management is the key. It's about investing your time instead of wasting it.

We make time for the things that are most important in our lives. The core of time management is learning how to prioritize. You will never find time for anything. If you want time you must make it.

They key to time management is simple: Quit spending when you can invest it!

  • Prioritize your time. Time is spent where your priorities lie. The time you don't prioritize is wasted time.

  • Spend time for yourself. Exercise is very important.  If you don’t make time for fitness, you’ll probably have to make time for illness. Resting to recharge yourself on purpose is never a waste of time.  Spending time in prayer is essential!

  • Value quality time. When you're with your family or friends, focus on them. PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN!

  • Value other people's time. There are always exceptions but being late consistently is just plain inconsiderate and disrespectful of others.

  • Make the most of your work time. When you're at work, don't just pass time. Do your best and be productive!

  • Use your spare time wisely, by remembering others with an encouraging call, text, visit or by offering a helping hand.

For a happier and more fulfilling life, spend your time wisely!

Never regret a day in your life.

    Good days give happiness

    Bad days give experience.

    Worst days give lessons.

    Best days give memories.

USE YOUR TIME AS A TOOL -- NOT AS A COUCH!
