Our exercise routine consists of doing diddly squats.
Don’t be like Gertrude and Wilma, who insist they need to shed a few pounds before they even step inside a gym. After all, the gym isn’t a VIP club that requires an audition.
It’s 2025—time to stop overthinking and start moving!
We all kick off the New Year with the best intentions. But here’s the real question: are you in it for the long haul? (Yes, literally!) Is your gym membership gathering more dust than your grandma’s attic? If you signed up for a gym membership today, would your bank call asking if your card had been stolen?
It’s never too late to hit the gym—no matter how you look or feel.
Some people take exercise as far as running their mouths, jumping to conclusions, and pushing their luck! But it’s time to redefine fitness. If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.
You pay for your health now or later. Invest in fitness today, or prepare to spend time on illness tomorrow. YOUR CHOICE!
And yes, exercise has surprising side effects. Apparently, it boosts decision-making. This morning, I went for a long run and decided... I’m never doing that again!
Fitness is crucial, but remember it’s only 20% of the equation. The other 80%? What you put in your mouth. Anyone can work out for an hour, but controlling what you eat the other 23 hours? Now that’s the real challenge.
As Jack LaLanne said: “Exercise is king. Nutrition is queen. Together, they create a kingdom.”
So, laugh at your reluctance, lace up those Hokas, and get moving. It’s about showing up
and staying consistent. Consistency, Consistency, Consistency!
