As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "Nothing great is ever achieved without enthusiasm."
In sales, it's essential to have a deep knowledge and pride in your product or service that you're offering. But in my opinion, the most important thing in sales, as in life -- is Enthusiasm!
Where does this enthusiasm come from? It doesn't just happen on its own. You have to build it into your life, your routine, and your attitude. The more knowledge you have, the more confidence you have. Your confidence fuels your enthusiasm!
In order to be enthusiastic, first you have to act enthusiastic.
Your enthusiasm is contagious! It's what sets you apart.
But you have to practice enthusiasm before you can perfect it.
Enthusiasm is more than just excitement. It's a combination of inspiration, motivation, and
a pinch of creativity. If I could get enthusiastic about oatmeal, Captain Crunch or even grits, I knew for sure I could get enthusiastic about fashion.
Now it's your turn. Take a minute to reflect on your own enthusiasm in sales and your life.
Are you bringing your A-game every day?
If not, make a commitment to practice and cultivate enthusiasm in everything you do.
Trust me, it will make all the difference.
