The road to life is paved with flat squirrels that couldn't make a decision.
Just like the squirrel, we're trying to 'cross-a-road' paralyzed by fear and indecision, wondering what to do. When you look around, you might think, "How did we get here?
Did everyone lose their minds at once?"
Sure, we’ve all got strong opinions on things, but throwing popcorn at your big screen TV won’t change the story. We’ve got to get out there and do something about it. Voting isn’t just a “nice thing to do.” It’s how we each get to say "I have an opinion, and I’ve got a role in this!" If we let someone else decide, we may be giving control to people who don't care about the consequences.
As Election Day grows near, we are at a crossroads in our nation. We all want to make the right decision which should be determined by our priorities and balanced by our integrity, But it's important we first make sure our candidate's choices and values align with ours. When our candidate's values and goals are clear, our decisions become easier.
If you decide not to vote and make no decision . . . you may end up like the squirrel.
If you’re thinking, “My vote doesn’t matter,” you’re not alone. BUT EVERY VOTE COUNTS!
History is packed with close calls where every single vote made a difference. If you want things to get better, not worse, It’s up to you! Find out where you’re voting, mark your calendar, and try this strategy:
STOP! Pray first.
LOOK! Examine your values.
LISTEN! Let integrity be your guide.
Not making a decision, is a decision. If you don't vote, you have no right to complain!
"If My people, who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray . . . . . and turn from their wicked ways . . . . . I WILL HEAL THEIR LAND!" -2 Chronicles 7:14
