I was way out of my league when I signed up for this Dale Carnegie Public Speaking Seminar. Because . . . . I was terrified of speaking in public! Hard to believe?
Now it is, but back then the guy in the second row left was shaking in his penny loafers.
After all, I was a happy and fairly successful hairstylist! OK, Barber. But down deep I wanted something more in my life. Change is often painful!
To be great, first you have to be good,
To be good, first you have to be bad,
To be bad, first you have to try!
Like I always say:
Do not bother trying to be better than everyone else.
Try to be better than yourself.
